After September 11, 2001 people did not want to travel overseas anymore, so Tassie answered his own question by purchasing the first motorcoach. A couple of years later the Company added a 47-passenger MCI motorcoach. Then in the spring of 2004 when Arnold Ferguson passed away, the opportunity arose to take a leap into the mainstream of the motorcoach industry in Calgary and Tassie jumped in with both feet by purchasing all of the vehicles then owned by Ferguson Bus Lines Ltd. of Calgary. The Company has grown year after year since the first tour in 1998, with successful overseas tours of Great Britain in 1998 (18 days), to Australia & New Zealand in 2000 (25 days) and to Glasgow in 2000 (18 days) for the World Curling Championships. Everyone had a wonderful time on these tours - we even avoided a cyclone in Cairns, Australia !! Around Calgary we offer one-day tours to many interesting and historical venues for 20+ seniors clubs, as well as a couple overnight trips. For a list of the day tours, look under "Tours" - we are always open to new ideas, so let us know if you want something that is not currently offered. Quality Time has available for charter a 56-passenger luxury Setra motorcoach and a 20-passenger minicoach. The President is Thomas Thomson, or as his friends know him - "Tassie". Having worked in the travel industry in Great Britain, Europe and now Canada, Tassie has over 30 years of experience, which is equalled by few others in Alberta today! We can serve all your touring needs - as well as spin a few very good "touring stories" for those who want to listen. The Quality Time enterprise started when Tassie married his wife, Diana Sheppard and immigrated to Canada in 1995 - then asked the question "Now what will I do?"
